Frontier Computing Limited, as the company was originally named, was established in October 1989 by Mark Cadby to provide IT services to financial organisations in Jersey and the other Channel Islands. The finance sector in the islands was undergoing rapid growth and demands on the small IT industry for innovative software solutions to business needs and skilled experienced technical staff was significant. Over the coming years Frontier Computing provided consultancy services to a number of large offshore financial organisations in the areas of systems design, software development and implementation. All of these services being provided in conjunction with the essential project and change management controls. In September 2008 the company was renamed Frontier Solutions Limited to reflect the changing emphasis of the company to providing predominantly Project Management services to the finance industry. There is still a strong focus towards IT related projects reflecting our strengths in this area, however Frontier Solutions goal is now more than just than just the successful delivery of a project but is directed to providing an overall 'solution' that will ensure our clients meet their business objectives. Our mission statement is deliberately simple and clear.
